Silverado Contractors was contracted to perform the selective structural demolition, renovation, and new construction work at Stanford University's Graduate School of Education and Barnum Center, located in Palo Alto, California.

The scope included the selective structural demolition and renovation of the three-story (plus basement) Graduate School of Education, which houses classrooms, offices, a library, and a lecture hall, as well as the complete demolition of a two-story addition to the Barnum Center to allow for a new four-story addition to the historic single-story masonry building.

Silverado also completed significant site work and landscape demolition in the surrounding area to make space for other trades. Due to the project's location on an active campus with students present, strict safety measures were implemented, including flaggers to escort all deliveries and constant vigilance to ensure pedestrian safety throughout the duration of the project.
