Silverado Contractors’ Marine Division was contracted to remove and dispose of approximately 15,187 square feet of the structurally unstable, red-tagged apron deck at Pier 50, Shed B in San Francisco. The project also included the identification and removal of abandoned utilities located within the apron removal zone.

Due to the deteriorated condition of the structure and its location along an active waterfront, the work required careful coordination with the Port of San Francisco and strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Silverado’s marine team successfully executed the project, ensuring the safe removal of compromised infrastructure and supporting future redevelopment of the pier.
