Silverado Contractors was contracted to clean, empty, and demolish 13 large storage tanks previously used to hold bunker fuel oil for power generation. The tanks varied in size, with nine measuring approximately 50 feet tall and 273 feet in diameter, constructed with 1- to 2-inch-thick steel walls. The remaining tanks were of similar height with diameters of 160 feet, except for one cutter tank which measured 90 feet in diameter.

The project involved extensive industrial cleaning and fluid management operations, generating and treating over 5 million gallons of water throughout the process. Silverado safely executed the decontamination and demolition of all tanks, adhering to strict environmental and safety standards while preparing the site for future use.
