Silverado Contractors was contracted to perform the complete demolition of the Etiwanda Generating Station, which consisted of five units—four gas-fired boiler units (Units 1–4) and one peaker gas turbine unit (Unit 5). The scope included the removal of all boiler structures, associated steam turbines, and supporting equipment and facilities across the site.

In addition to above-grade demolition, Silverado removed all foundations and subsurface plant operating utilities to a depth of 10 feet below grade. The project required detailed planning and execution to safely dismantle complex energy infrastructure and prepare the site for future redevelopment.
