Silverado Contractors was contracted to perform the renovation and selective demolition of a historic 1912 brick and steel building, executed in two carefully planned phases. The work was performed with a focus on preserving the building’s historic integrity while enabling critical structural upgrades.

Silverado’s crews removed plaster ceilings, interior walls, and wood flooring to allow for seismic retrofitting, ensuring the original architectural character was maintained. The scope also included the demolition of the existing boiler and mechanical systems, as well as the removal of interior concrete walls to support the building’s modernization efforts.
