Silverado Contractors was contracted to demolish the iconic 240-foot Bank of America Clock Tower (formerly the Union 76 Tower) to make way for two new 60-story concrete towers in San Francisco’s Rincon Hill district. The tower was carefully dismantled one triangular-shaped floor section at a time, with the entire structure safely brought to the ground in just 40 shifts.

In addition to the tower, Silverado also completed the demolition of the attached three-level parking structure and a 100,000-square-foot office building. The project required precise planning and execution in a dense urban environment, clearing the site for one of San Francisco’s most prominent high-rise developments.
