Silverado Contractors was hired by Dutra Construction to perform emergency demolition of the AMPORTS Benicia Wharf following a major fire on April 9, 2022. The scope included the complete removal and disposal of the 950-foot timber apron and trestle structure, including all timber pilings, as well as the selective demolition of damaged ship loader foundations.

This critical demolition effort cleared the way for Dutra Construction to implement temporary dock repairs, enabling the rapid restoration of operations at the Petroleum Coke export facility.
