Silverado Contractors was contracted to perform mass excavation, structural excavation, and excavation in support of the shoring contractor on a complex project in San Francisco. The scope also included pad certification and the off-haul and disposal of various regulated materials.

In total, Silverado safely exported and disposed of approximately 30,000 tons of Class II Non-Hazardous (NOA) soil, 8,000 tons of Class I Non-RCRA waste, and 2,000 tons of Class II VOC-contaminated material. The project required detailed coordination, strict environmental compliance, and expert handling of regulated soils—demonstrating Silverado’s capability to manage large-scale earthwork with precision and safety in an urban setting.
