Silverado Contractors was contracted to demolish a 100,000-square-foot, 8-story post-tensioned concrete medical office building, originally constructed in 1962, located in the Anza Vista neighborhood of San Francisco. The structure included one partially below-grade level and occupied a significant portion of the city block along heavily trafficked Geary Boulevard.

This high-profile project presented unique challenges due to its location in one of San Francisco’s busiest corridors, with constant pedestrian and vehicle congestion. Additionally, the adjacent facility at 350 St. Joseph’s remained an active Kaiser Permanente site throughout demolition, requiring Silverado to implement strict safety protocols and maintain seamless coordination to ensure uninterrupted operations for staff and patients nearby.
